Ways of students’ information percetion in the teaching process of the foreign language in e-format

Abstract

At present e-learning is a modern way if educational process implementation that is becoming more and more prevailed. Professor’s preparing the materials for the educational process implementing is much complicated as it demands the development of stepwise directions ad detailed assistance in the activity accomplishment. However, ways and manners of students’ perceiving the information can be referred to some problems which the students are faced with during the educational process. The first and second year students of General Medicine, Pediatrics and Dentistry faculties were studied to determine the ratio of dominant perceptual modality among the students to develop and arrange the educational process in e-mode. The results were the following: audial perceptual modality was 18,3%, kinesthetic perceptual modality rated as 53,3%, and visual perceptual modality – 28,4%. Applying the basic principles of communicative approach, we introduced vocabulary and grammar material with video file. The video files were matched basing on introduced vocabulary and grammar material, sense-feeling as well as gestures and movements of the speakers related to contact sensations. The application of individual approach taking into consideration all the characteristics of the students allows mastering the material successfully and achieving basic goals of the educational process with the implementation of e-technologies.
