This article explores the secondary taxis complex in modern German—a systemic unity formed by dependent taxis constructions that express the temporal relationship of a background action to a primary action and simultaneously highlight instrumental, causal, perceptual, aspectual, and emotive meanings. The methodological basis of this study is a functional-semantic approach, which allows us to consider prepositional deverbatives with the prepositions bei, mit, and durch as the result of intercategorical crossing of the secondary taxis field with the fields of instrumentality, causality, perceptuality, aspectuality, and emotiveness. Corpus examples are used to identify the complex's structural components, the types of semantic relations within it (interference, hierarchical, complementary), and the parameters of semantic integration. The central result is a typology of contextemes, modeling the implementation of the secondary taxis complex from monosyncretic (taxis-instrumental, taxis-perceptual, taxis-causal) to polysyncretic (taxis-instrumental-aspectual, taxis-perceptual-causal, taxis-instrumental-emotive, taxis-perceptual-aspectual) types.
The study of phraseological units in linguistics has a long history and is of particular interest, since the experience of a people’s spiritual and cultural development is recorded indirectly, through nationally specific metaphors of real objects and phenomena in the surrounding environment. The article offers an overview of research on Chinese phraseology undertaken in Russian and Chinese linguistics over a period of 25 years, from 2000 to 2025. The work carried out made it possible to assess the current state of phraseological science in the context of studying Chinese phraseology and to identify the areas that attract the attention of young scholars. The description includes not only works on the study of chéngyǔ, but also other types of phraseological units (incomplete expressions (歇后语, xiehouyu), proverbs and sayings (谚语, yanyu and 俗语, suyu), and phraseological combinations (惯用语, guanyongyu)). The review concludes with an assessment of the current state of phraseological research in sinology.
The article is devoted to the study of the transformation of communicative interaction between a physician and a patient in the context of the digitalization of medicine. The authors consider the introduction of information technologies as a factor generating new formats, means, and strategies of medical communication. The linguistic personality of the physician is examined through the identification of patterns of physician behavior in online communication. A behavioral trajectory is understood as a stable sequence of communicative strategies and tactics aimed at achieving professionally significant goals in online interaction. The result of the generalization and critical analysis is a classification and characterization of the main behavioral trajectories of physicians in online communication. It is emphasized that the choice of a trajectory or a combination of trajectories is determined by a number of factors and is associated with the communicative and professional competencies of the physician, prospects for further research are outlined.

The purpose of the present study is to describe the stages of the creation of an intermediate cognitive structure in the translation of proper names from English into Russian and Chinese (based on the animated film Mulan, 1998) and to reveal its role in establishing interlingual equivalence between the source and target lexical units. The study draws on the cognitive structure as a unit for storing “compressed” knowledge and on cognitive modeling, which makes it possible to represent hidden mental processes in the translator’s mind. The translation of a name is viewed as a sequence of three stages (comprehension, verbalization, and comparison) during which a frame is formed in the translator’s mind, that is, a form of storing implicit knowledge about a character. It is shown that the choice of a translation method relies on the results of the comprehension stage and is verified at the comparison stage against the criteria of preserving the character’s identification, cultural affiliation, and associative links. The scientific novelty of the present study lies in defining and systematizing the cognitive stages of proper name translation and substantiating their role in creating a frame structure and an intermediate cognitive structure in the translator’s mind. The results make it possible to regard the translation of proper names not as a “mechanical” transfer of lexical units by means of transformation operations, but as the creation of an intermediate cognitive structure ensuring interlingual equivalence between the name in the original and in the translation.
The article considers axiological context as a unit of linguoaxiological analysis of Russian folk fairy tales. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that the value content of a fairy-tale text is not always expressed by a separate evaluative lexical unit: it can be formed through the combination of character nomination, action, speech situation, object symbolism and plot result. The aim of the article is to define the features of axiological context and to describe its main types on the material of A.N. Afanasyev’s fairy tales. The research hypothesis is that axiological context makes it possible to describe evaluation not only as the meaning of an individual word, but also as the result of interaction between a linguistic means, a situation of choice and a narrative sanction. The material is a card index of 2400 axiological contexts. Character, actional, speech, situational-emotive, object-symbolic and narrative-final contexts are distinguished. The conclusion is made that axiological context is a productive working unit combining lexical-semantic, speech, symbolic and plot levels of analysis.
This article presents a comparative analysis of German and Persian phraseological units containing a somatic component. The study aims to identify semantic similarities and differences between the units in both languages. The relevance of this research is driven by the growing linguistic interest over recent decades in national and cultural identity, the linguistic picture of the world, and general patterns in anthropocentric linguistics. These topics lie at the intersection of such disciplines as linguistics, psycholinguistics, phraseology, cognitive linguistics, and cultural linguistics. The paper provides brief data on the emergence of phraseology as a science, examines the main types of idioms, describes the key features of phraseological units with a somatic component, and presents a comparative analysis of somatic idioms across three levels of equivalence.
The article is devoted to the analysis of binary oppositions in the modern English-language political media discourse. The binary opposition “we / they” is considered as one of the key cognitive-discursive mechanisms for the formation of a polarized image of political reality. The typical configurations of this binary opposition, the lexical means of its verbalization, as well as the functions that form the basis of argumentation in political media discourse are described on the basis of the news texts of the British and American media. The authors identify three main configurations of the “we / they” binary opposition and conclude that, by integrating into strategies of self-presentation and discrediting, this binary opposition contributes to the polarization of public opinion.
This article is devoted to the study of the functional features of synonyms in the artistic speech of native speakers of the Tabasaran language. The study was conducted on the material of the works of Tabasaran authors. A comprehensive analysis of the functional features of synonymous lexical units and their semantic and functional features in the artistic speech of native speakers of the Tabasaran language is presented. The role of lexical synonyms in creating artistic imagery and textual expressiveness is determined. The results of the study are presented through semantic analysis and descriptive and comparative characterization of synonymous units.
