Abstract
The study of lexical units in linguistic literature lays a special interest, since the experience of spiritual and cultural human development is fixed by the names of real objects and phenomena of the surrounding reality. The relevance lies in the necessity of determining the ways of transferring phraseological units with the component naturonym as cultural realities reflecting the national individuality. For the first time we used phraseological units with words nominating plants, animals, natural phenomena, celestial bodies and stars, which fix and reflect the processes of perception of the world in this or that culture. Thus, the study of naturonyms can help in solving terminological, linguocultural, ethnolinguistic and linguodidactic problems.
