Classification of the functions of color terms in the Chinese and Russian artistic works

Abstract

The article discusses the functions of colors in the artistic works. Scientists have different views on the functions of colors. The aim of the article is on the base of analyzing the existing scientific works, creating the author classifies the functions of colors terms, and conduct testing in the work texts in Chinese and Russian, the results of the study is that we have reached a conclusion that the author’s classification of colors terms including main grid function, symbolic function, aesthetic function, text formation function, visualization function and emotional expression function,thus, we can analyze the two texts in selected language.
