Anemone colour in the representation of a segment of the Russian colour conceptosphere of the floral space

This article presents the main results of the polydiscursive research (as material were used lexicographic sources, data of directed associative experiment, of the Russian National Corpus, materials of advertising discourse), devoted to the description of one of the segments of the colour conceptosphere of the Russian floristic space on the example of anemone colour descriptions. The main results of the research are: 1) the composition of colour terms significant in anemone visualisation (18 colour terms) was established and characterised quantitatively and qualitatively; 2) means of extending the actual colour spectrum (lexemes with the meaning of colour heterogeneity, of colour intensity, with implicit colour) were revealed; 3) the composition and modifications of the colour composites actualised in the colouristic descriptions of anemone were identified and described; 4) the dominant colour representing the stereotype of plant colour perception was established; 5) the composition of unique colour descriptions of anemone (mauve, purple, etc.) reflecting the individual colour picture of the linguistic personality's world was revealed; 6) the functionality of plant colour descriptions has been established (dominant representational and expressive function, as well as ontological, generic, temporal, etc.); 7) the composition of colour terms based on the colouristic descriptions of anemone (anemone colour, anemone red), previously not recorded in colour dictionaries, was revealed; the spheres of these terms of colour functioning (Clothing, Renovation, Building) were established; the degree of anemone colour descriptors activity in new colour terms producing was characterised.
